Great food- quality, taste and portions. The server we had was attentive, informative and engaging. He had some great suggestions and took the time. Cute spot in MDD. The only hiccup we had was that the hostess seemed very confused with where to seat the two of us.

Inventive menu. We started with a roasted feta appetizer recommended by our waiter-- delish! We also shared a roasted snapper which was accompanied by the crispest of lettuces! We had a side of Dijon mustard potatoes which were quite good and unique. Very festive atmosphere where indoor and outdoor seating meld together. There's street parking available on the block -- which looks like Fifth Avenue in NY. You can shop 'til you drop and then have an extraordinary meal!

This place is cute. It may be a bit overcrowded at times. The service was a bit slow during the week midday, it wasn't really packed so not sure why the service was slow and took a while to get our drinks and even longer to get our food. The drinks were okay. The food was really good and we really enjoyed it. I'd go back just for the food.

Back at Michael's and it never disappoints! I came for their happy hour from 4-7pm with $6 appetizers. We enjoyed and we were stuffed!! The server was excellent and she gave us radishes as a starter as well. The ambiance is pleasant and I'll definitely be coming back as it's my go to in the DD!

Had this restaurant on the radar for a while and I'm happy I was finally able to dine here. Every single dish was perfect. We started with some drinks which were good. For appetizers, we had the Burrata and the caviar service. The entrees included the bucatini, risotto, chicken, and pork Milanese. Everything was simply delicious. The Milanese and chicken were definite standout dishes. For desert, we had the carrot cake/cheesecake which was fantastic. Service was good. The restaurant has street parking, but valet is only $5. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.

This place was wonderful. The octopus was delicious, it was served with radish, cilantro and some crema. The fries (not pictured) were great! I didn't get a chance to snap a pic because I was starving and munched out on them. The service was amazing, the manager came to our table and all, to introduce herself and let us know that she's available if we need anything. The bartender was very nice and made our drinks fairly quick. The espresso martini was good, the coffee really packed a punch. My favorite part was when they brought out the double baked carrot cake, it was yummy!! It was my birthday, so they also brought out a hand written card. That was very thoughtful, I really enjoyed that aspect of my dining experience. Overall, I highly suggest you check them out. We made a reservation in advance since we were a big party, they were very accommodating.

My initial review was over a decade ago and Michael's is still in business, so they are obviously doing something right! We met friends here last night for happy hour (available from 4-7 every night except Saturday) and dinner. We started at the bar, where they have a fantastic menu! We opted just for drinks since we had dinner reservations, but the snacks ($6) looked great! We had two rounds at the bar; all drinks $10: Bulletproof Manhattan - verdict was that a manhattan should be a manhattan and don't try to mess with the original Old Man Go - perfectly balanced but a little on the sweet side Big Poppa - the person who ordered it liked it, but you have to be down for a smoky scotch experience Literally Good - this was ordered 2x! It was a hit! I sampled and did not like it because of the mezcal, but if you like smoke, you'll like this drink Aperol Spritz - this was prepared in the classic manner and was perfect Fresh as a Cucumber - I ordered this drink and loved it! Light, refreshing and not sweet at all En Fuego - this was my 2nd drink and I also loved it! I'm generally not a tequila fan, but the tequila was balanced by just a bit of sweetness from the watermelon and a fantastic jalapeño bite! After our rounds at the bar, we were seated and greeted by Ramon, who was a fantastic server! We had brought two bottles of wine with us ($35 corkage fee per bottle). Ramon brought both white and red glasses (Riedel) and chilled the white down for us. We started with the okra, which was roasted so as to avoid the sliminess. Perfect! The okra pods were nestled on a bed of piquant pimento cheese. After the okra, we all opted for the Spice menu. Two of us had the mussels escabeche - these arrived tapas style, out of the shell in a garlicky oil with a side of grilled sourdough. Really delicious! They paired perfectly with the albariño we brought. The other two starters were the french onion croquette and the beef tartare; I didn't sample these but the guys in our group enjoyed them. For mains, we had the cobia and the mafaldine. The cobia was roasted with a nice wood flavor. The mafaldine came with mushroom and cauliflower in a creamy sauce and was delightful! Dessert was espresso flan and almond cake - both were absolutely delicious. I don't care for the texture of flan, but the flavor of this dessert was magnificent! On my last visit years ago, we felt like the restaurant was way too crowded, and they seem to have renovated the interior to eliminate the crowded feeling. The tables were spaced appropriately, and only the bar area felt a bit crowded, which is totally understandable as they have a great happy hour. The service was excellent and a huge improvement. I think the happy hour pricing is fantastic and they do a great Spice menu; however, the regular menu and wine list is a bit pricey.

Sunday Brunch review : Service : 5/5 Waiter : Jacob H Jacob was very a tentative and provided us with recommendations. He was knowledgeable about the menu and provided his input as well ! Ambiance : outdoor patio was nice and they had the fans going so it didn't feel super hot. Very cool and breathable The menu had a variety of options that I really liked ! I LOVEDDDDDDDD MY FALAFEL MEZZE and the pork belly on the Kimichi Benedict was amazing ! Def would come back !
